Over 30 years ago I landed my first Atlantic salmon on Nova Scotia's Lahave River. Since that Sunday in June, I knew that fly fishing was something that I wanted to do. I came by this passion honestly as my father and grandfather are and were great anglers and were patient teachers at every level.

It wasn't until I moved to southern Ontario though, in 1992 that everything changed. The un-exploited fly fishing guide business was ripe for the picking and fly shops took advantage of the new found niche. Right time and right place provided me the opportunity to eventually make it a full time vocation that has taken me to the where I am now.

It was that beat on the Lahave River; The Eddy near the Morgan Falls fish way that is the inspiration for the name of my business. No matter where I am or what I'm doing, all I have to do is think of the home pool and I'm right where I need to be.
